Description

• The Helpers is a story set in the world of Anarchy Online. A story of conspiracies, of murder, of peace and war. The animation is the conclusion of a fan-fic told in part by text.
  
  The animation was created over one month in this one-man studio, from concept to final product, using a slew of tools. Primary animation was done in Discreet's 3D Studio Max. Visit this page for a little more information about how it was made.

  Hehe, the "nun" and the "albino" were friends I had met in Anarchy Online. They're part of a player guild in which the event was run (the basis for this animation). The nun plays a doctor in-game so I thought she'd be knowledgable in how to quickly incapacitate someone.
  
  As for the black guy, he's human. However, in Anarchy Online lore, most people have some sort of implants. In this case, visual ones.
  
  And as for the ending, the guy suffered a permanent death (normally death isn't permanent in the Anarchy Online world). The best way I could think of to portray that was a enveloping orange shroud. I hope that answers some of your questions.

• The flick was amazing for one month of work (Ted: the voices and dialog could use a lot more intensity) The story was confusing though, and the website (and Anarchy Online's movie series) didn't clear it up. Why is a nun with Vulcan nerve pinch skills running around with an Albino? Is the black guy a cyborg? Did something short out in his brain and make him glow orange? Please tell!
